The Cy-Creek FFA Booster Club supports the activities of the Cypress Creek FFA Chapter. FFA is a National Organization promoting premier leadership, personal growth and career success for students involved in the program.
Each year the club provides between $2000 and $5000 to students fulfilling all scholarship requirements and any senior having completed a year or more of Ag class is eligible to apply for scholarship opportunities.
In addition, the club financially supports the maitenance and improvements of the nearby animal project barn housing student animal projects. The property is donated to the organization by Franklin Aire and includes a 4000+ square foot steel barn for the raising of steers and heifers with recent additions for swine. Additional area is available for rabbits, poultry, lambs and goats. Through fundraising efforts, all overhead expenses, maintenance and improvements to facility are paid by the FFA Booster Club.
The Cypress Creek FFA Booster Club is designated a 509(a)(2) public charitable organization by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service with federal identification number 76-0581201. All contributions are deductible under section 170 of the IRS code.
